OMS - P-Valve. One of the best things a diver can do to prepare for a dive is to drink enough. Optimal hydration requires 12-24 hours to drink enough before the planned dive. With increasing dive time you are challenged more and more, how you stay hydrated. Part of the process of being hydrated and being underwater is the ability to urinate.


The OMS P-Valve has been developed from feedback from divers with years of underwater experience. The patented P-Port system allows the diver to remove the P-valve and replace it with a blind plug so that it can be cleaned or simply removed for dives where it is not needed.

Long-lasting dives require the need to "answer the call of nature," but not every dive requires a P-valve. The OMS P-Valve has the unique ability to remove the balance valve and replace it with a watertight, pressure-resistant blind plug. This also allows the diver to clean and rebuild the valve when needed, but to keep the drysuit running. Our unique bayonet lock prevents the valve from being accidentally removed when the diver activates the "on / off" button during the dive.
